World Yoga Festival – Goa
The 1st ever WORLD YOGA FESTIVAL, organised by INTERNATIONAL SADGURU FOUNDATION (India) and WORLD YOGA COMMUNITY (USA)in collaboration with the Goa Tourism Development Corporation. A four-day event organised to unite the entire world over YOGA. The event had over 300 international delegates and over 4000 national delegates as participants.
Miramar Beach, Goa played host to The WORLD YOGA FESTIVAL organized from 1st to 4th of February, 2018,to present the true nature of Goan culture to the world and help people realise how important yoga isas a form of exercise and relaxation.
The ‘Yoga Sadhana’ was demonstrated in the presence ofMr. DileepkumarThankappan, PresidentWorld Yoga Community (USA) and Brahmeshanandacharya Swami,Founder International Sadguru Foundation, with a demonstration of ‘Hasya Yoga’ by Swami Gopalnandanji.Mr. Shripad Naik, Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent charge) was present as a special guest for the World Yoga Festival at Miramar beach.
YOUTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE partnered with the INTERNATIONAL SADGURU FOUNDATION (INDIA) and AYUSH ministry to join hands to spread the joy of YOGA to every individual. With the acceptance of YOGA in over 170 countries, as a community together, YCC envisions the benefits of this art form reach every house throughout the globe.
