Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the largest and the most successful driving institute in the UAE and the Middle East, has collaborated with the Youth Chamber of Commerce (YCC) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and to establish driver training institutes in various parts of India. NSDC under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is one of its kind public-private-partnership which aims to catalyze creation of quality vocational training in India across different sector.
EDI has got into this partnership with YCC and NSDC to provide a platform to facilitate the candidates to acquire driving licenses, in line with the requirements of UAEs Roads & Transport Authority and regulatory agencies of other part of Middle East
The initiative will help fast-track the employment prospects of thousands of Indians who wish to work in the UAE and other parts of the Middle East, but miss out on opportunities because they don’t have a valid driving license when they enter the country. These expats will now learn about driving style and road etiquettes in India, and will be better equipped to drive in the UAE and other parts of the Middle East once they enter the country.
